Like, I get the desire of serving up a "rogue-like" experience. But there needs to be some form or sort of light at the end of the tunnel for us normal gamers. While I am at it, I do want to mention, the frame rate of Have A Nice Death doesn't always do too well on my machine. I also am aware you're still in early access, so work is still being put in for improving and tinkering.
#Have a nice death how long to beat upgrade#
You know I had one run with 3 prismiums and almost 400 soularies? And during that run, I was not able to upgrade my cloak nor scythe even once!! Though, how I made it to the beginning of level 4 in spite of that, I still cannot say. Or, is that the actual point of this exercise? To constantly beat the player down with cheapness? The number of times I've "rushed" right into my death because its invulnerability frames are not at all generous when you need them to be, the most! Losing because I could never recover from past injuries.is very infuriating. Yeah, you guys do really need to work on giving the player more opportunities to heal - and consistently.

Good, promising runs getting snatched away from me because Old Death certainly is not made to stay apace with all the foolishness being lobbed at him constantly.įirst and foremost, I find myself getting cheapshotted by projectiles as a natural matter of course - some projectiles, of which, get launched at me off-screen!Īnd, yeah.
